2020, 2021 & 2024 President of the Beauregard Parish Police Jury 

     2023 Elected at Chairman of the Regional Planning Commission of Southwest Louisiana.

     Recently (September 2024) invited Officials of the City of DeRidder and the Town of Merryville to meet with Governor Landry's Staff to present the Current needs and Priorities for the Parish and Municipalities.

Previously served you as...

     *  IMCAL board member,  Parish Buildings and Grounds Committee member,  Chairman of the Beauregard Parish Economic Development Committee,  Chairman of the 1st Parish Ways and Means Committee.

     *Supported partnership agreement of Beauregard Parish, City of DeRidder and Beauregard Chamber of Commerce to hire an Economic Developer.

      *Completed the Basic Economic Developer requirement of being a Certified Economic Developer to enhance my ability to assist in the creation of Opportunities for this area.  I plan to continue the Certification process to better assist with attracting success for our area.

      During 2004-2008, we completed the Health Unit Renovations, we were faced with the issue of Alcohol for the 1st time since 1976, Evacuees from Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, Hurricane Rita September 2005, Act 12(State Building Codes) 2006, Creation of the Recreation Districts at Dry Creek and Ragley and Construction of the Parish Government Complex.

      Ampacet Corporation -  Supervision Team, Leadership Training,

Certified as an Internal Auditor, former Maintenance and Operations, Quality and Safety staff.

     2008-2016 - Resource Advisory Committee member for Kisatchie National Forest.

​

     2003-2007 -  Elected to serve as Beauregard Parish Fair Association board member and elected to its Executive board. 

     * 2004-2008 - Served as a board member Beauregard Community Action Association(BCAA).  

     * 2010 - Arranged for the LSU - Mobile Classroom to conduct Business classes to train local residents 

     *  Filed the initial forms to request that The Tractor Supply Company build the 1st Tractor Supply store in Louisiana here in DeRidder.

 

      2000-2004 -  Volunteer for the  American Red Cross during which we experienced flooding at Bundick Lake and Sabine river near Merryville.  Conducted Shelter Operations at DeRidder Junior High for Hurricane Lily evacuees.

     Attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana - Psychology and a minor in American History.
